Monogram 29 Ford Rat Rod
Ford Rat Rod is from the original Monogram 29 Ford kit. (yellow on the box)
Because this was a partially built glue bomb when I found it, I decided to Rat Rod it. I think the old 4 banger is a perfect example of how “anything goes” when building a Rat Rod.
The seat is covered with some very fine material I ripped from an old jewelry box. The front axle is from the AMT 36 Ford and the rear chrome reverse rims are from the AMT ’51 Chevy, mounted on common slicks. The cab was primed with red oxide and the box was hit with BBQ paint. After that, some mild weathering and a chain across the tailgate.
